Pack and Shift have certain terms and conditions to be followed by you while availing our services. These include:

1. Pricing and Additional Charges

  • Exclusions: The quoted price does not include VAT, TAX, parking fees, storage fees, NOC, or any other government fees. If any of these charges apply, the client must pay them upon receipt.
  • Additional Costs: The quoted price excludes any costs for accessories, modifications, or unpacking. If accessories or modifications are required for opening or refitting shifted items, the client must provide the corresponding bills for these services.
  • Payment of Charges: If the Company pays any of the aforementioned charges on behalf of the client, the client must reimburse these charges at the delivery point as per the receipt.

2. Prohibited Items

  • Exclusions: Pack and Shift Company will not pack or move jewelry, liquid money, stamps, checks, bonds, mobile phones, tablets, or similar items. If any of these items need to be moved, the client must notify us in writing. We will then pack and move these items with proper evidence.

3. Additional Services

  • Repairs and Installations: Pack and Shift Company is not responsible for electrical, carpentry, or plumbing work. If such services are required, we will provide them based on staff availability and at extra charges.
  • Extra Goods: If the client wishes to move additional goods beyond those listed, these will incur extra charges.

4. Responsibility and Claims

  • Listed Items: Pack and Shift Company is responsible for carefully moving the listed items. If any listed items are missing, the Company will take responsibility provided that the client has made the list with a Company representative. Claims will not be guaranteed without this list.
  • Hazardous Goods: Pack and Shift will not move hazardous or illegal goods.

5. Liability and Insurance

  • Exclusions: Pack and Shift or its representatives are not responsible for damage or loss due to natural calamities, unforeseen accidents, fire, riots, or sabotage. To mitigate risk, we advise the client to insure their shipment.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling: To reschedule the moving date, the client must notify the Company at least 72 hours in advance.
  • Cancellations: To cancel the booking, the client must notify the Company at least seven days before the moving day. Otherwise, the client will incur a demurrage charge of 20% of the total moving estimate.

7. Payment Terms

  • Advance Payment: A minimum of 30% of the total amount is required as an advance with the work order, which will be adjusted against the final invoice.
  • Final Payment: The client must pay the full bill at the delivery point or as per the written agreement/work order.
